Debuting among energy sector exhibitors at the 23rd Fenasucro & Agrocana, GasBrasiliano (gas supplier and distributor in northwest Sao Paulo) will give the event's participants the opportunity to meet Brazil’s 1st bus equipped with a dedicated engine that can operate on biomethane and CNG and considered one of the most modern in the world. The initiative is undertaken in partnership with Scania.

During Fenasucro & Agrocana 2015, which will take place this week, the bus refueled with GasBrasiliano CNG will cover part of the external area of the event carrying visitors from the parking lot to the entrance. The 15-meter bus offers capacity to carry up to 120 passengers.

“Besides being an opportunity for GasBrasiliano to introduce in the market the important results of work and research focused on cogeneration, Fenasucro is also the ideal spot to show the feasibility of CNG vehicles in fleets(runs natural gas compressor based station) within agribusiness,” said Alexandre Schoubek, Marketing and Service Manager of GasBrasiliano.

Headquarters of Fenasucro & Agrocana, Sertaozinho (SP) will be the third Brazilian city where the Scania Citywide Euro 6 will operate on CNG. Sorocaba was the first Brazilian city to have a demonstration and was chosen to encourage their operators to use lower emission vehicles in their new fleets. The initiative, held in February, proved that Scania Citywide Euro 6 is capable of reducing emissions by 90%. A similar action took place in Londrina in May this year.
